Work
My engineering and research work.
These pages explain the problems I worked on, how the systems and experiments were designed, and what the results supported, alongside the limitations and decisions that shaped the work.

Cell2Compound: Can a Drug-Response Benchmark Support the Claims Made of It?
I built a drug-response pipeline using single-cell RNA-seq and measured whether its benchmark could support model comparisons, finding that the median compound-dose response was smaller than its own measurement error and checking that finding on a larger, independent platform.

Physics-Informed and Relational Inverse Learning for Synthetic-to-Real Microbial Dynamics
For my MSc dissertation, I trained inverse models on synthetic microbial ecosystems and tested whether they could infer parameters that reproduce sparse, noisy real mouse microbiome data.

ProteinTuneRL: A Reinforcement Learning Perspective on Antibody Design
I extended IgLM antibody infilling with token-level A2C and GAE, studied how reward changes with policy divergence, and added ESM-2 and reference-structure tools to evaluate sequences independently of the training reward.

Biological Connectivity Patterns as a Blueprint for Efficient Neural Architectures in Reinforcement Learning
In this collaborative study, we compared a biologically inspired swimming controller with pruned and distilled neural networks to understand how connectivity affects performance at a small parameter count.

IBM Client Engineering
I worked with research teams and clients to develop AI systems, evaluate their behaviour, and integrate them with existing data and software, across agents, retrieval, fine-tuning, code modernisation, and model monitoring.

Oracle Health and Cerner Population Health
I developed population-health data pipelines and analytics, tested CMS reporting workflows, and worked on performance, automation, and production support for healthcare clients at Oracle Health, formerly Cerner.
